Futurama Returns in June

It’s been known for a while now that Futurama was coming back with all new episodes to air on Comedy Central. The show has taken a similar road back as Family Guy. After getting mediocre ratings in its initial run on Fox, it was canceled, only to see its popularity grow over the years due to DVD and reruns on Comedy Central.
Unlike Family Guy I really enjoy Futurama, though it isn’t a show that I have necessarily gone out of my way to watch. When nothing else is on its something I flip over to just to have on in the background and get mild enjoyment out of. The new episodes though may capture my attention more depending on how good the first few turn out to be.

I did not like Futurama at all in the beginning…. I LOVE IT NOW !!! It took awhile for me to realize how funny it is. It is one of the better shows on tv and I can't wait for it to be back on regularly. I was barely getting by on the random 4 part specials… Benders Big Score, The Beast With a 1000 Backs, etc….

Correction, its popularity grew due to re-runs on adult swim. That was until “Carl Central” took it over (ATHF FTW)
