ABC Considering Reboot of Alias

E Online is reporting on a rumor that ABC is talking about the idea of rebooting Alias. The JJ Abrams series ran on the network for five seasons from 2001-2006. It is unknown whether Abrams would be involved given he is in the midst of launching his new series Undercovers for NBC. The thinking is that a new Alias could fill an audience void which looms large now that Lost has concluded. The network failed to deliver with either FlashForward (canceled) or V (disappointed) which were regarded as potential Lost replacements.
